Read the video description

The film opens on a tannery drum with the DMP Leather title. Drum processing follows, then drying and preparation as workers handle hides. An operator feeds leather through processing machinery. Finishing shows hides moving through the finishing line. Sorting and packing shows finished hides stacked by color. The closing card reads DMP Leather, with goat, cow, buffalo, and sheep, over packed cartons. Instrumental score; no spoken narration.

01

Leather specified for its final use.

We supply goat, cow, and sheep leather programs in full hides, rolls, color selections, and application-specific finishes. The right starting point depends on the product: a flexible driver glove, a welding glove, a protective garment, or leather for resale. Tell us how the material will be used so we can discuss the relevant options.

  • Grain or split leather and the required grade
  • Thickness, temper, softness, and hand feel
  • Color, surface finish, and appearance requirements
  • Water-repellent, oil-resistant, and other application-specific development
02

An advantage for glove development.

Leather knowledge allows us to consider the material and the glove together. Adjusting thickness, finish, or softness can change dexterity, comfort, grip, and wear. We discuss those trade-offs before cutting and stitching, then review samples against the customer’s requirements.

03

Leather supply is a service of its own.

You do not need to order finished gloves to buy leather from us. Carolina Glove Company, Kunz Glove Company, and Tandy Leather are leather-supply relationships. Carolina and Kunz are not presented as glove-manufacturing customers.

04

Material properties and protective claims.

We can explore materials for thermal, arc-flash-focused, water-repellent, or oil-resistant applications. Suitability depends on the specification and final construction. A material option or treatment does not by itself certify a finished glove or garment.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER

Clear steps. Shared expectations.

01

Define the leather

Share the species, grain or split requirement, thickness, finish, color, quantity, and intended use.

02

Review samples

Compare appearance, feel, and agreed properties. Confirm the material specification before an order.

03

Coordinate supply

Agree production timing, quality requirements, packaging, and shipment arrangements for the leather program.

PRACTICAL ANSWERS

Before you get started.

Is DMP Leather a separate business or website?

DMP LËATHER® is the leather brand offered through DMP Solutions. Customers can discuss leather supply and finished-product development with the same team.

Can we order leather without finished gloves?

Yes. We supply finished leather directly to glove manufacturers and leather retailers, independently of glove manufacturing orders.

Can the thickness, finish, and color be customized?

These are part of the development discussion. Send the intended use and required material properties so we can confirm suitable options and prepare an agreed specification.

Can you provide leather for protective applications?

We can discuss application-specific leather development and the testing requirements involved. Any final protective claim must be supported by the appropriate product testing and documentation.

How do we request pricing or samples?

Send your material specification or a reference sample, estimated quantity, intended use, and target timing. We confirm available options, sample arrangements, and commercial terms after review.

LET’S DISCUSS YOUR REQUIREMENTS
